Auch wenn die Show von Fans recht positiv angenommen wurde und einen Erfolg darstellt, so wird Netflix wohl trotzdem nicht l\u00e4nger an dem Projekt festhalten. Vor einigen Tagen wurde offiziell verk\u00fcndet, dass Vikings: Valhalla von Netflix abgesetzt wurde und die Serie mit Staffel 3 ihr Ende finden wird.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Information stammt von Co-Creator und Executive Producer Jeb Stuart, der das Ganze in einem Interview mit <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2023\/tv\/news\/vikings-valhalla-season-3-netflix-canceled-1235747847\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Variety<\/a> best\u00e4tigte. Dabei stellte der Serienmacher aber wohl auch klar, dass die Charaktere zwar noch viele Abenteuer h\u00e4tten erleben k\u00f6nnen, aber Staffel 3 einen guten Endpunkt f\u00fcr die Serie darstellt. Diese Aussagen lassen es so klingen, als w\u00e4re es dem Team zumindest gelungen, ein ordentliches Ende f\u00fcr Vikings: Valhalla auf die Beine zu stellen.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cOf course with real historical figures, there are always more aspects of their lives that could be explored, but it made sense story-wise for our Leif, Freydis and Harald\u2019s voyages to end with our third season. And we really cannot wait for the fans to see the conclusion of this chapter of history.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Vikings: Valhalla hatte f\u00fcr mich pers\u00f6nlich das gleiche Problem, welches bereits das Ende des Originals plagte. Ohne Ragnar Lodbrok fehlt einfach das zentrale Element der gesamten IP. Trotzdem war Valhalla eine solide Serie und ich mochte viele der Charaktere. Ein Ende nach Staffel 3 ist auf jeden Fall eine Entt\u00e4uschung. Allerdings darf man mittlerweile wohl froh sein, wenn eine Serie auf Netflix \u00fcberhaupt so lange l\u00e4uft und einen ordentlichen Abschluss findet.
