Nintendo \u00fcberraschte seine Fans in der Nacht von gestern auf heute dadurch, dass es offiziell die Produktion eines Live-Action-Film zu The Legend of Zelda angek\u00fcndigte. Der Presseerkl\u00e4rung<\/a> von Nintendo zufolge laufen die Vorbereitungen f\u00fcr das Projekt wohl bereits seit mehreren Jahren. Trotzdem soll der Film wohl noch ein wenig auf sich warten lassen und Fans sollten vorerst nicht mit mehr Informationen zu dem Projekt rechnen.<\/p>\n

Shigeru<\/span> Miyamoto<\/span> von Nintendo und Avi<\/span> Arad<\/span> (Spider-Man: Across<\/span> the Spider-Verse, Iron Man, Blade<\/span>) werden als Producer des Films fungieren. Als Regisseur wurde wohl Wes Ball angeheuert, der unter anderem f\u00fcr die Maze<\/span> Runner<\/span> Filme verantwortlich gewesen ist. Ansonsten wurde auch noch erw\u00e4hnt, dass Nintendo mehr als 50%<\/span> der Finanzierung der Produktion \u00fcbernimmt und der Rest von Sony beigesteuert wird. Auf diese Weise beh\u00e4lt Nintendo die kreative Kontrolle \u00fcber das Projekt.<\/p>\n

Solch eine Best\u00e4tigung zu erhalten, ist auf jeden Fall unerwartet. Meine ersten Gedanken zu der Ank\u00fcndigung fallen gemischt aus. Ein Film zu Zelda w\u00e4re sicherlich unterhaltsam und Nintendo k\u00f6nnte einige sehr tolle Geschichten erz\u00e4hlen. Allerdings bin ich bei einem Live-Action-Projekt durchaus skeptisch. Menschliche Gesichter f\u00fcr Zelda, Link und andere Elemente von Hyrule<\/span> zu verwenden f\u00fchlt sich einfach etwas komisch an. Das Ganze k\u00f6nnte richtig billig wirken, wenn es nicht gut genug umgesetzt wird.<\/p>\n
