In dem dritten Special zum 60. Jubil\u00e4um von Doctor Who erleben Fans eine spezielle Regeneration des Doctors, die darauf hinausl\u00e4uft, dass sowohl Doctor 14 (David Tennant) als auch Doctor 15 (Ncuti Gatwa) am Leben sind. Die Folge endet dann damit, dass Gatwa zu neuen Abenteuern aufbricht und Tennant sich mit Freunden\/Familie eine Pause g\u00f6nnt. Fans dieses Sci FI Klassikers sehen dieses Ende als Grundlage daf\u00fcr an, um Tennant m\u00f6glichst zeitnah zur\u00fcckzubringen und Doctor 14 in neuen Projekten zu verwenden.<\/p>\n

Auch wenn eine R\u00fcckkehr des vierzehnten Doctors durch m\u00f6glich w\u00e4re, so sollten Fans aber wohl nicht in der nahen Zukunft damit rechnen. Tennant erw\u00e4hnte n\u00e4mlich in dieser Woche in einem Interview mit der Radio Times<\/a>, dass das Ende des dritten Specials keine besondere Bedeutung hat und die R\u00fcckkehr eines alten Doctors immer m\u00f6glich w\u00e4re. Fans sollten aufgrund der speziellen Regeneration aber keine besonderen Erwartungen haben. Doctor 14 und Tennant befinden sich aktuell im Ruhestand und der Schauspieler m\u00f6chte diese Phase wohl nicht so schnell beenden.<\/p>\n

Diese Aussagen machen also mehr als deutlich, dass Tennant<\/span> kein eigenes Spin Off erh\u00e4lt und er auch nicht in der kommenden Staffeln auftauchen wird. Die Zukunft von Doctor Who basiert auf Gatwa<\/span> und Fans m\u00fcssen wohl damit leben, dass ihr geliebter Doctor sich erneut eine Auszeit nimmt. Vermutlich wird er zwar irgendwann f\u00fcr ein weiteres Special zur\u00fcckkehren und einen weiteren Meilenstein feiern, aber Fans sollten nicht mit regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Auftritten von Tennant<\/span> rechnen.
