Blizzard has revoked the invites of two players, Thomas \u201cSintolol\u201d Zimmer and Mats \u201cP4wnyhof\u201d Kathage, to the upcoming Global Games because of \u201crecent, inappropriate, and unsportsmanlike comments,\u201d after two other players protested the inclusion of P4wnyhof by withdrawing from the tournament.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Seit Wochen k\u00f6nnen Spieler mit einem Battle.net-Account f\u00fcr die Lieblingsspieler ihres Landes voten. Hintergrund ist die nahende Team-Weltmeisterschaft, die Blizzard „The Hearthstone Global Games“ nennt. Wenn ich ehrlich bin, habe ich f\u00fcr SuperJJ<\/strong> gestimmt, den ich von allen am sympathischsten finde. Gewonnen haben am Ende die Spieler Lifecoach, C4mlann, Sintolol und P4wnyhof<\/strong>, die nun die deutschen Farben bei der offiziellen Blizzard Team-WM vertreten sollten.<\/p>\n

Gestern wurden dann offiziell die Spieler Sintolol <\/strong>und P4wnyhof von Blizzard<\/strong> aus dem Team\/Turnier genommen. Hintergrund war eine Auseinandersetzung der beiden Spieler bei Twitter. Hier der offizielle Post von Community Manager Valgrimasz<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

Dear community,<\/p>\n

In the light of recent, inappropriate, and unsportsmanlike comments made by Thomas \u201cSintolol\u201d Zimmer and Mats \u201cP4wnyhof\u201d Kathage, we have decided to rescind their invitation to represent Team Germany in the upcoming Hearthstone Global Games.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re in the process of identifying replacement players, and will reach out to them privately.<\/p>\n

Fakt ist, dass Forsen<\/strong> seit jeher gegen P4wnyhof Stimmung macht. Er startete damals die Bot-Ger\u00fcchte und f\u00e4ngt immer wieder an, gegen Mats zu sticheln. Thomas „Sintolol“ Zimmer stieg vor einiger Zeit drauf ein und stichelt ebenfalls immer wieder gegen P4wny. Forsen hat sogar gedroht, seinen Platz im Team Schweden zu r\u00e4umen, sollte P4wnyhof bei dem Wettbewerb dabei sein – was dann auch so passiert ist. Die ganze Stimmung (auch zwischen den Fanboys der verschiedenen Lager) ist so aufgeheizt, dass sich die ganze Sache dann in einer Auseinandersetzung auf Twitter entladen hat. Das Ganze hatte dann in etwa dieses Niveau…<\/p>\n

Hier haben sich beide Seiten eindeutig nicht „mit Ruhm bekleckert“. Von daher finde ich auch das Einschreiten von Blizzard richtig. Ich finde es immer wieder schade, dass sich die gro\u00dfen und bekannten Hearthstone-Spieler ihrer Vorbildfunktion nicht bewusst sind. Das beste Beispiel daf\u00fcr ist und bleibt wohl Forsen: Alkoholiker, st\u00e4ndig im Stream betrunken und hat sich eine Armee aus Trollen und Hatern herangez\u00fcchtet – wie auch dieser Fall mal wieder zeigt… <\/p>\n

Bleiben am Ende zwei leere Pl\u00e4tze im deutschen Team, die Blizzard nun auff\u00fcllen muss. Man darf gespannt sein, wie die Sache weitergeht.<\/p>\n
