Dragon’s Dogma fans got not just one but two updates on the upcoming sequel Dragon’s Dogma 2 this week, and both of which paint the game in a promising light ahead of its eventual release. It doesn’t yet have a release date following Capcom’s reveal of the game in June, but according to its director Hideaki Itsuno, it’s shaping up to be an „interesting“ game that Capcom will have more news on soon enough. Im Juni 2022 verk\u00fcndete Capcom nach Monaten voll mit verschiedenen Hinweisen und Teasern, dass die Arbeit an Dragon‚<\/span>s Dogma 2 offiziell gestartet wurde. Dieses kommende RPG soll einen direkten Nachfolger zu Dragon‚<\/span>s Dogma aus dem Jahr 2012 darstellen und diese Reihe endlich fortsetzen. Auch wenn Dragon‚<\/span>s Dogma von Kritikern nicht extrem gelobt wurde, so besitzt dieses RPG aber dennoch eine Reihe von extremen Fans. Das Ganze hat sich im Verlauf der Jahrzehnte zu einem Klassiker seiner Nische entwickelt.<\/p>\n

Diese Fans des Spiels warten aktuell nat\u00fcrlich gespannt auf weitere Informationen von den zust\u00e4ndigen Entwicklern. Auch wenn es aktuell noch immer an einem Ver\u00f6ffentlichungstermin oder ausf\u00fchrlichen Bildmaterial mangelt, so gab es im Verlauf der vergangenen Woche aber zumindest ein Status-Update der Entwickler. Zur Freude der Fans \u00e4u\u00dferten die Entwickler sich sogar direkt zweimal zu dem aktuellen Zustand der Arbeit an dem Spiel.<\/p>\n

Erst einmal ver\u00f6ffentlichte Famitsu<\/span> <\/a>ein interessantes Interview mit dem Entwicklerteam. In diesem Gespr\u00e4ch \u00e4u\u00dferte sich das Team unter anderem zu ihren Hoffnungen und Zielen f\u00fcr das kommende Jahr 2023. Dabei verk\u00fcndeten die Entwickler recht eindeutig, dass die Arbeit an Dragon‚<\/span>s Dogma 2 derzeit sehr gut voranschreitet. Das gesamte Team ist aktuell wohl zufrieden mit dem erzielten Fortschritt und der angepeilten Zeiteinteilung.<\/p>\n

Im Verlauf des gestrigen Abends folgte dann auch noch ein direktes Update von dem f\u00fcr das Spiel verantwortlichen Game Director Hideaki Itsuno<\/span>. Der Entwickler ver\u00f6ffentlichte zum Ende des Jahres sein eigenes Status-Update zu Dragon‚<\/span>s Dogma 2 auf Twitter. Dabei betonte der Game Director im Grunde die gleichen Punkte, die bereits in dem Interview festgehalten wurden. Die Entwicklung des Spiels l\u00e4uft sehr gut und der Titel nimmt scheinbar eine wirklich interessante Form an. Weitere Details zu dem Projekt sollen wohl schon bald folgen.<\/p>\n

Das Ganze klingt also danach, als m\u00fcssten Fans vermutlich nicht mehr sehr lange auf genauere Informationen zu dem Spiel warten. Als gro\u00dfer Fan von RPGs jeder Art bin ich nat\u00fcrlich sehr gespannt darauf zu sehen, wie sich Dragon‚<\/span>s Dogma 2 entwickelt. Der erste Teil der Reihe war durchaus interessant und stellenweise recht einzigartig. Ich sehe auf jeden Fall viel Potenzial f\u00fcr diesen Nachfolger.<\/p>\n
