Oscar-Verleihung 2023: Die Gewinner der einzelnen Preise

In der Nacht von gestern auf heute stand in Hollywood mal wieder die jährliche Verleihung der Oscars an. Dieser begehrte Filmpreis wurde im Jahr 2023 zum mittlerweile bereits 95. Mal an Filme, Schauspieler, Musiker und Regisseure verliehen. Bei den Oscars handelt es sich um den Preis mit der meisten Prestige, der der Welt zeigen soll, was für herausragende Arbeit der Preissträger in seiner jeweiligen Kategorie geleistet hat.

Der große Sieger des gestrigen Abends war recht eindeutig das beliebte Indie-Drama „Everything Everywhere All at Once“. Dieser Film konnte von seinen insgesamt elf Nominierungen auch direkt sieben Preise einsammeln. Dieser Umstand ist zwar beeindruckend, aber das Ganze kommt nicht wenig überraschend. Zu den verliehenen Preisen gehören beispielsweise die wichtige Auszeichnung als bester Film und der Preis für die Beste Regie. Zusätzlich dazu wurde Michelle Yeoh für ihre Leistung in dem Film als erste asiatische Frau mit dem PReis für die Beste Hauptdarstellerin ausgezeichnet.

Ein für deutsche Kinofans wichtiger Aspekt der Oscarverleihung sollte das Ergebnis von „Im Westen nichts Neues“ sein. Dieser in Deutschland produzierte Film konnte sich nämlich direkt in mehreren Kategorien durchsetzen und insgesamt vier Oscars abräumen. Dazu gehörte unter anderem die Auszeichnung als „Bester internationaler Film“. Dieser Film brach damit den Rekord für die höchste Anzahl von Oscars für einen Beitrag aus Deutschland.

Ansonsten möchte ich an dieser Stelle auch noch den sehr gerührt gewesenen Brendan Frase hervorheben. Dieser Schauspieler konnte sich den Oscar in der Kategorie als Bester Hauptdarsteller sichern. Diese Auszeichnung hat er für seine Leistung als sehr übergewichtiger Mann in dem Film The Wahle erhalten. Meiner Meinung nach ist dieser Preis mehr als nur verdient, weil seine Performance in dieser Produktion wirklich hervorragend war.
